Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how the SplitCam Android application handles information.
1. Photos and camera content
SplitCam uses the camera and photos you select only to create the image composition you request. Photo processing happens on your device. SplitCam does not upload your photos to Soly or to a SplitCam server. Finished images are saved to your device gallery only when you choose to save them, and are sent to another app only when you choose a Share or Email action.
2. Firebase Analytics
SplitCam uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage and improve the app. Analytics may process app interactions, app and device information, approximate technical information such as operating-system version, and app-instance or installation identifiers. SplitCam explicitly disables advertising-ID collection and ad-personalization signals.
3. Firebase Crashlytics
SplitCam uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and reliability problems. Crashlytics may process crash stack traces, diagnostics, app state at the time of a crash, device and operating-system information, and installation identifiers. Photos selected or captured in SplitCam are not intentionally attached to Analytics or Crashlytics reports.
4. Advertising and purchases
SplitCam does not contain advertising or in-app purchases. It does not request the Android advertising-ID permission, does not use AdServices permissions, and does not perform personalized advertising processing.
5. Permissions
SplitCam requests camera access to capture photos. On Android 8 and 9, it may also request legacy storage access so that a finished image can be written to the gallery. On newer Android versions, gallery import and export use Android's system document and media APIs without broad photo-library access.
6. Service providers and international processing
Google processes Analytics and Crashlytics information as a service provider. Its processing may occur in countries other than your own and is governed by Google's applicable Firebase terms, data-processing terms, and security measures.
7. Retention and deletion
Images remain under your control on your device or in apps with which you choose to share them. Analytics and Crashlytics information is retained according to the configured Firebase retention settings and Google's service requirements. You can clear local app data or uninstall SplitCam to remove its app-specific working files. You may contact us with a privacy request using the address below.
8. Children
SplitCam is not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required for data processing in their country. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us so that we can review the request.
9. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated when SplitCam, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised Policy is published.
